Senior BMS/HVAC Estimator (Pre-Sales Engineer)
Location: Bracknell, RG12 1EB
Pay: 26.49- 31.20 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

What you'll be doing:
Developing accurate, competitive cost estimates for BMS and HVAC systems, including materials, labour, and scope
Collaborating with Sales and Design teams to support bid development and win strategies
Interpreting RFQs and designing fit-for-purpose technical solutions
Producing detailed proposals, Bills of Materials, and technical documentation
Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
Conducting technical and commercial reviews for internal approvals
Partnering with Operations to validate costs, identify risks, and improve efficiencies
Supporting client meetings, negotiations, and technical discussions
Staying up-to-date with the latest BMS, HVAC, and smart building technologies
Ensuring compliance with processes, quality standards, and health & safety policies
What you'll bring:
Over five years' experience in BMS/HVAC estimating or pre-sales engineering
Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems and HVAC solutions
Proven ability to produce detailed, accurate estimates and proposals
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel and proposal documentation
Desirable skills:
Experience with CPQ tools (Configure, Price, Quote)
Knowledge of energy solutions and cloud-based systems
Familiarity with Honeywell or similar BMS platforms
Experience working on large-scale or international projects
