Stores Controller
Slough
30,000 - 35,000 per annum
We are currently Looking for a Stores Controller to join a growing manufacturing business based in Slough. This is a hands-on role within a small workshop-based stores environment, where you will play a key role in implementing new stores processes, organising materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and manage incoming materials and deliveries
Log, identify, and locate all materials accurately within the stores area
Ensure all materials are stored correctly and maintained in designated locations
Pick and kit parts for production lines and customer orders
Transport materials between the warehouse and various locations across the site
Support production teams with ad-hoc labouring and operational tasks as required
Assist with the implementation and ongoing use of a tablet-based MRP system
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Stores Controller, Stores Operative, Materials Handler, or similar role
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and stock control processes
