Business Analyst – Digital Assets / Blockchain

Location: London/Leeds, UK (Hybrid)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support strategic technology and business transformation initiatives within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis experience, stakeholder management skills, and exposure to Blockchain, Digital Assets, or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to define solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and process mapping activities.
• Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts including BRDs, user stories, process flows, and gap analyses.
• Support change initiatives from requirements through delivery and implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Assist in the analysis of Blockchain, Digital Assets, Tokenisation, Cryptocurrency, or DLT-related business processes and solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Experience creating user stories, process maps, and business requirements documentation.
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to Blockchain, Digital Assets, Cryptocurrency, Tokenisation, Smart Contracts, or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).
• Experience working on digital transformation or regulatory change programmes.
• Previous experience within large enterprise environments.
