Business/ Market Development Manager - Data Centers

This is a great opportunity for someone currently looking to build their career in the DC space. We’re looking for a driven, commercially sharp Business Development Manager to help shape the future of safety in the global datacenter industry.

Within our client’s business, you won’t just chase deals, you’ll influence designs, shape standards, and win business through MEP contractors, specifiers, hyperscalers, colocation providers, consultants, and EPCs.

This role is for you if you are:

• Comfortable selling systems or solutions to specialist customers
• Experienced with or open to international travel
• Energised by strategic selling, early-stage influence, and big-picture impact
• Curious, analytical, and confident engaging senior technical and commercial stakeholders

What you’ll do:

• Build awareness and drive growth across the global data-centre ecosystem
• Influence specifications, design standards, and approved-vendor lists
• Build relationships with the customer base, primarily situated in London
• Position our client as a premium fire & gas safety partner for Tier III & IV facilities
• Turn early technical influence into real, margin-protected wins

Essential experience & requirements

• B2B Technical Field sales of electronic/ electrical equipment
• Sales history with Consultants, EPCs, system integrators, or technology-led solution providers
• Ability to travel internationally
• Ability to visit customers in London on a regular basis every week

Advantageous experience

• Data-Centers, mission-critical infrastructure, or safety systems
