Main Purpose of Job: Business Support Assistant
The Purchase to Pay team undertakes the purchasing of goods and services on behalf of teams across Nottinghamshire from a wide variety of Vendors.
Main Responsibilities: Business Support Assistant
Working within the teams inbox and your own worklist you will be following agreed procedures when raising orders using BMS/SAP
Liaising with requisitioners/vendors/other departments to resolve queries and issues and providing guidance on processes
Chasing approval of invoices and confirming goods receipt for payment

The team is busy and the work fast paced and will heavily draw on your organisation skills and your proactive approach to your work.
Accuracy, numeracy, and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure are essential requirements of the post along with excellent administrative clerical skills using a methodical approach and working withing business support standards and processes. You must be competent and have experience in using common Microsoft Office packages eg Teams, Excel and databases, as data inputting is a key task you will be asked to complete.
Training will be provided on all aspects of the role and systems used by experienced colleagues in a supportive and safe environment.
The post holder will be required to comply with organisation's policies and procedures.
The organisation has a no smoking policy. Staff are not permitted to smoke on any of the organisation's premises nor in any vehicle used on organisation business.
