SEN Maths Teacher
A brand new specialist SEN school opening in South London is looking for a passionate Maths Teacher to join its founding teaching team this September!
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the Maths department from the ground up in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art school designed specifically to support students with additional needs.
If you are currently teaching Maths in a mainstream setting and are looking for smaller class sizes, more support, and the opportunity to make a genuine impact, this could be the ideal next step.

The Role
- Teach engaging Maths lessons up to GCSE level
- Work with small class sizes (typically fewer than 10 pupils)
- Adapt teaching to support students with SEN including ASC, dyslexia and communication needs
- Integrate EHCP targets into lessons and student development
- Help shape and develop the school’s Maths curriculum and teaching strategy
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and pastoral teams
- Support students academically, socially and emotionally
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Strong experience teaching Maths in a mainstream secondary setting
- Experience supporting students with SEN is highly desirable
- Confident teaching Maths to GCSE level
- Passionate about inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
