International Legal Counsel / Attorney (Fluent in French & English)

We are seeking a highly qualified International Legal Counsel to oversee our global legal affairs and facilitate high-level communication with international stakeholders. The role focuses on managing cross-border legal compliance, handling complex contract negotiations, and ensuring seamless diplomatic and legal coordination within our foreign operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.). A Master’s degree (LL.M.) in International Law or Commercial Law is strongly preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, French, and Turkish (Professional proficiency in legal drafting, speaking, and official correspondence in all three languages).
• Work Permit: Must possess a valid work permit in the United Kingdom and Turkey.
• Citizenship: British citizenship is strongly preferred.
• Expertise: Mid-level experience and strong knowledge of International Business Law, trade mechanisms, and diplomatic etiquette.
• Skills: Excellent cross-cultural communication, high-level representation skills, and legal analytical thinking.
• Flexibility: Ability to travel internationally as required for missions and high-level meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Legal Affairs Management: Managing relations with foreign government bodies, embassies, and international legal partners.
• Drafting & Documentation: Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating official contracts, legal memorandums, and corporate documentation in English, French, and Turkish.
• Compliance & Monitoring: Coordinating and monitoring legal, diplomatic, and administrative processes related to international projects to ensure regulatory compliance.
• High-Level Advisory: Providing legal support and linguistic coordination during international missions and executive meetings.
• Strategic Consulting: Offering legal risk assessments and strategic advice regarding the company’s international trade operations and global investments.
