About Quix Labs

Quix Labs is a healthcare company focused on helping smokers and vapers by offering smoking alternatives giving them the choice to reduce and remove nicotine from their lives. Our products are currently stocked in community pharmacies across the UK, and we are rapidly expanding our pharmacy, employer wellbeing, and clinical partnerships.

As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand our pharmacy footprint, strengthen strategic partnerships, and drive commercial growth across the UK.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, securing, and developing commercial relationships that increase patient access to Quix products and services.

This individual will work directly with the Founder & CEO and play a key role in expanding our presence within independent pharmacies, pharmacy groups, employer wellbeing programmes, and healthcare organisations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building relationships, opening doors, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Pharmacy Growth
  • Develop relationships with independent pharmacies throughout the UK.
  • Identify and engage regional and national pharmacy groups.
  • Support onboarding and activation of new pharmacy partners.
  • Work closely with pharmacy teams to maximise patient engagement and product adoption.
  • Attend pharmacy meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.

Strategic Partnerships
  • Build relationships with healthcare organisations, employers, and wellbeing providers.
  • Identify partnership opportunities with pharmacy groups, healthcare networks, and related organisations.
  • Support development of referral pathways into participating pharmacies.
  • Manage partnership pipelines and commercial negotiations.

Commercial Execution
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting.
  • Track pipeline activity and partnership performance.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Clinical Outreach, and Marketing teams to support growth initiatives.
  • Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

Requirements

Essential
  • Minimum 3 years of business development, account management, or commercial experience.
  • Demonstrable experience working within the UK pharmacy sector.
  • Existing relationships with community pharmacies, pharmacy groups, wholesalers, or healthcare organisations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-moving startup environment.
  • Based in London or surrounding areas with the ability to travel throughout the UK.

Preferred
  • Experience selling OTC, healthcare, pharmacy, smoking cessation, wellness, or medical products.
  • Experience working with pharmacy buying groups or regional pharmacy chains.
  • Familiarity with NHS, primary care, or community pharmacy services.
  • Experience working with CRM systems.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 12 months, you will:

  • Expand Quix's active pharmacy network.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key pharmacy stakeholders.
  • Support growth of employer wellbeing and healthcare partnerships.
  • Help establish Quix as a recognised brand within the UK pharmacy sector.
  • Contribute directly to company revenue growth and patient impact.
