CAD Technician
Birmingham - 2 Days Hybrid
£30,000 – £40,000 + Bonus + Package
We’re working with a growing engineering consultancy specialising in highways, transport planning, and infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a CAD Technician to join their Midlands team.

The Role
- Assisting with the design and delivery of highway and infrastructure schemes
- Producing technical drawings, calculations, and design packages
- Supporting projects through feasibility, detailed design, and construction stages
- Liaising with utility providers, Local Highway Authorities, and external stakeholders
- Assisting with technical approvals and ensuring compliance with highway standards
- Preparing reports, schedules, specifications, and cost estimates
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within highways, infrastructure, or consultancy environments
- Excellent AutoCAD skills
- Working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving licence
