This position is pivotal in developing and maintaining a strong portfolio of customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering a consistently high standard of service.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to align sales activity with the company's short- and long-term objectives, while building lasting relationships with customers and suppliers. Job Details
- Salary: Competitive, with commission and incentives
- Holidays: 25 days per year
- Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop a profitable customer portfolio through ethical and effective sales methods
- Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
- Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries using appropriate sales techniques
- Procure products in line with customer needs and company guidelines
- Work closely with internal teams to optimise service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction
- Resolve issues with customers and suppliers, including financial matters, in a collaborative manner
- Attend and present at customer meetings, representing the company professionally at all times
- Identify, analyse, and report on market and customer trends
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Present and promote the company to prospective customers in a professional manner
- Monitor competitor activity and gather relevant market intelligence
- Liaise with global business units to maximise overall sales opportunities
- Ensure all sales administration is completed accurately and on time
- Maintain and regularly update the customer database
- Conduct and report on account planning strategies when required
- Attend industry events and functions when required
